For all of you who are fans of glo-fi, chill bro core, conceptual blog core, wave blog, conceptro, cum wave, wave wave or chill wave then this post is for y'all.

Essentially music for sitting in the sun after a night at a car park rave, this music was the talk of the town in 2009. Read more about the genre here. The first track is by Night Shining who are from Brooklyn. Download their beautiful album here.

The second tune is by one of the leading lights & founding creators of the genre. Catch him and his mac book pro tonight @Cargo. Tickets are only £8 and a must if you are having those post bank holiday blues.

The last track has nothing to do with chill wave. It is by my friend MIA and has been released in response to some music journalist who said something bad about her. Check out her very cool label blog here to get the full picture. Neet.

I couldn't post yesterday because blogger was playing up. Another reason to move to wordpress. With all the comotion going on in Jamaica, the top song today is from dancehall's current leading light, Popcaan. The Portmore solider has been tearing up the island for a minute and is featured on the tune of the moment, Clarks - which incidentally i have been wearing since day. Maybe given the trouble i should have chosen this track but i prefer the Dream one. It was all a dream - Popcaan wah gwan. Check out the interview with him here @1hr13m with Young Lion or here on youtube. He sounds like the real deal at least.

Staying on the carribean theme, last night i went to see Major Lazer who are basically two white boys who like dancehall and rave and have combined them. Wiggas. They should stick to their own music. Despite my reservations, i did enjoy it. The energy they create is great. And it is always nice to see the mc climb a ladder and then do a Shefki Kuqi onto a girl from the crowd who is lying on the stage and then simulate pounding her. That's some real man shit right there.

The last track is from the Roots who are due to drop their latest album on June 22nd entitled, "How I Got Over".

Yesterday, my friend Diego who lives in Brazil said my last post was lazy. I have always respected his views. He is one of the hardest working men in Rio. Sorry Diego, i will try harder today. The top song is by a girl called Lissie who is very good. Diego says that he has been listening to the song before he goes out when he is alone with a bag of disco shit.

Featured on the Longest road track made famous by Deadmau5, Lissie recently signed to Sony/ATV. I am looking forward to seeing her @Bestival but if you cant wait that long she is playing lots in London in June so check her myspace.

"When I'm Alone with you
you make me feel, you make me feel,
When I'm Alone with you
you are the one, you are the one"

Yesterday, i spoke to my byronic chum J-Pos who is currently living/hiding in Rome. He said he has been listening to this track. a lot.

"I've always known since i was a young boy
in this world, everything is as good as bad"

Yesterday, i also spoke to my man Christopher who lives in Tivoli Gardens, Jamaica. He said him and his mans have been bumping this. The line went dead when i asked him if i was going to see him in Vegas again this summer.

Am going to see Aeroplane tomorrow who have just been signed to Wall Of Sound. They are the masters of funky/disco/house/italian pop. Check out their May mix here.

"Come on over over, come on over over,
Come on over, we're having a party for you".

The first song is from their September mix which you can find here. Download the Yatch album here for some feel good DFA magic.

The other songs i stole from other people's blogs.

Also fyi, i saw on my nigga Kai's facebook page that he is now a fan of Drake. Lol.com A few weeks ago he was saying Drake was garbage :)

The new Foals album is marvelous. They are playing at the itunes Festival (win tickets here) and just announced a date @Brixton Academy in November. Worth throwing/emailing your name into the itunes hat as there are some v.good nights on the billing. For those of you who are fans of Entourage (who isn't?), this song features on the preview trailer on HBO. For those of you who are fans of Deadboy (who is?), check out this japanese remix.

The other two songs are boring :)

I bumped into my man Joe Muzz at some industry event last night ;) and he was asking me for less indie shit and more gangster rap. Fair enough. Who better to provide what the readers want than the hardest out there, Killa Cam. Like beforetheblogs, he keeps the boasters boasting and computers 'puting and this track is no different. Lyrically on point as ever.

"I'm like a breath of fresh air,
140 thou in the left ear,
nigga's stay talking about next year"

The Drake album is looking to be the biggest album to drop this summer. It is gonna be hotter than the girl in the Say Something video. Just. (Check out the pics of her in the latest xxl).

The last song is the most gang$ta of the three.

Home time.

A couple of weeks ago Fred kindly did his first post and today he is back with some new tracks. When i re-design the blog i would like him to have his own section. The more the merrier.

Two Tracks of the week

1. We Doin' This Again - Slam

Upbeat, cool house with quirky vocal.

Fact: Slam are Scottish-based duo Stuart McMillan & Orde Meikle. They are co-founders of Soma Records.

2. Scarlet House - Loko

Groovy house with obligatory deep vocal and nice use of the trusty wood block.

Fact: Loko is from Argentina - real name Ariel Gonzalo Gonzalez. Not to be confused with Mirko Loko (Switzerland) or Loco Dice (Germany via Tunisia).

Oldie(ish) but Goodie

Bradler & Dualton - Six Hours Later (2008)

If you looked up the name John Digweed in a DJ dictionary (if indeed one existed) this would be the sound that played.
