My buddy from New York put me on to the new Groove Armada album. I havent really listened to much of their stuff beofre but i might do now as 'Black Light' is v.good. 80s synthy poppy. check it. The song i have chosen from the album features one of the dudes from Empire Of The Sun which is probably why the track has a We Are The People element to it.

Last night i went to see Shutter Island. I wish i hadnt seen the trailer first. It kind of gives it away. But this isnt a film blog so i dont know why i just wrote that.... Anywayyyyy the soundtrack was excellent, especially this song. V.emotive. Haunting. Tragic. Chilling. etc etc. There is also a version which contains a woman talking but i didnt like it as much.
