Don't have much time to write. I downloaded the Distant Memories album last night and have listened to it a bit so far. It is dope. This track samples a song that i had on here a couple of weeks ago by Amadou & Mariam. It was a shame that the tour was cancelled because of the ash cloud but hopefully the re-scheduled event in July @theHammersmithApollo will take place. Fingers crossed.

The Vangel track is very nice. It is taken from the EP, Bilbio. I can't find an illegal link for it anywhere so i might actually purrrchase. It is electronica/acousmatic/tape music/psychedelic at it's finest ;)

Sleigh Bells were hotly tipped by me a couple of months ago and now the blog world has caught up and followed suit. Their debut album is called Treats and the reason they are getting so much hype is because they a) are proteges of M.I.A and b) their music is bleapy shit which therefore makes them avant garde. BANG BANG. I actually quite like it. You can catch them on Sunday in Chiswick & Tuesday @TheMacbeth. I will be there. Backstage probably.
